How many guests can Haywood Hall House and Gardens accommodate for a wedding ceremony?

For a wedding ceremony, the front lawn can accommodate up to 175 guests.

How many guests can Haywood Hall House and Gardens accommodate for a reception?

For a cocktail style reception, the garden can accommodate up to 300 guests.

For a seated reception under a tent, the garden can accommodate up to 100 guests.

For standing indoor events, Haywood Hall can accommodate up to 75 guests.

What is included in the venue rental rate?

You can enjoy access to both the house and gardens throughout the entirety of your wedding or event. You may also rehearse your wedding prior to the ceremony. A venue manager will be present for the duration of your event. Additionally, if you are getting married on property, we provide a one-hour daytime photography session with your photographer.

Do you have parking?

Yes. We are located across from Public Lot 20, which is available for free public use during evenings and weekends. Please refer to parking information for more details.

How do I book my wedding/event date?

To secure your reservation for a wedding or event at Haywood Hall House and Gardens, we require you to attend an in-person tour of the property. For scheduling a tour, please complete a Contact Form.

May I choose my own vendors?

While we offer some flexibility in selecting vendors, there are certain requirements to adhere to. It is required that you hire a venue approved event planner or a professional day of coordinator.

Can I choose my own caterer?

You may choose your own licensed and insured full service caterer. The venue must approve your catering service. We will provide a list of recommended vendors, and our team is always available to assist and provide suggestions as needed.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

With proper permitting along with a licensed & insured bartending service, we do allow you to purchase your own alcohol. This is a huge savings!

Are there additional fees or service charges?

We are transparent about our rental fee. There are no added or hidden fees. You will be allocated a fixed amount of time for your wedding or event. If you wish to extend the allotted hours, you can request an extension for additional hours, and an additional fee will apply.

Am I required to hire a wedding planner?

You must hire a professional event planner, at the very least a licensed day of planner. 

When does the wedding rehearsal take place?

The Rehearsal can take place the day before your wedding at no additional charge.

Can we host our Rehearsal Dinner at the venue following the Rehearsal?

Yes. We would be happy to host your Rehearsal Dinner. We typically host one wedding or event per weekend, so we can accommodate your Rehearsal Dinner at a competitive rate.

Who is responsible for cleaning after my event?

We require that you leave the venue space in clean condition and remove all trash from the premises.

What if it rains?

If it rains during your wedding or event, the rain plan will be to hold the event either in the house (up to 75 people) or under a tend in the garden. Your event planner or day of coordinator will be in charge of implementing this so you do not have to worry.

Are dogs allowed at the venue during an event?

We allow dogs for photography sessions as long as they stay outside and are well supervised.

Is the event space wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We have a handicapped accessible entrance to the house and to the restrooms.

Are there any other events happening during my wedding or event?

We host one event or wedding per weekend so the space is completely yours to enjoy!
